Thrilling matches, excellent supporters, great moments in and out of the court – that were the Women’s and Juniors European Championships that took place last weekend in Slovakia.
The best country in women’s category was Hungary with two golds and 1 bronze, among juniors reigned the players from the Czech Republic with two golds and one silver. Hungarian Boglárka Lepsényi became the most successful player, winning the European title in women’s single and double and a bronze medal in triple. You can check out all the winners and results clicking on the Results links in the Menu on the left.
Congratulations to all the winners and a very big thanks to the members of the Slovak Futnet Association who worked hard longs months before the event so that the participants as well as the spectators could enjoy three days full of great futnet entertainment.
Also thanks to all those who made their way to Kosice and gave us the joy of seeing that our work bears fruit and our international futnet family is growing. We appreciate all your efforts and we are always happy to see not only your progress, but also the atmosphere of fair play and friendship that is present in futnet competitions. And those of you for whom it was their first international appearance, we know that the beginnings are never easy, but your courage and determination were highly appreciated.
Thank you, Kosice, and we are looking forward to seeing you all at future international events!
